Established  - 1987

-         The Popular armed struggle led by EPRDF removed the totalitarian government of the Workers Party of Ethiopia (WPE) in may 1991.

_-           EPRDF has been leading Ethiopia Since May 1991.

_-           EPRDF has won the majority seats of the Peoples Representative Council of the Ethiopian Federal Democratic Government in the past two national elections. (1995 & 2000)
