the state during the last two years.
The primary education coverage in the state has reached 91
percent from 22 percent in 1996.
The primary health coverage has also reached 93 percent,
which had only been 27 percent 15 years ago.
Over the years it was made possible to open up employments
to more than 100,000 citizens, thereby bringing about a
significant reduction in unemployment level.
There have also been gains in the fronts of infrastructure
development and technological improvements, it said.
More than 370,000 investors with an aggregate capital of
over 27 million birr have launched various projects.
