The Southern Ethiopia Peoples Democratic Movement (SEPDM) said
it would launch a fund raising campaign aimed at collecting 29
million birr
According to Muder Seman, SEPDM Human Resource and Finance
Department Head, the major objective of the fund raising
campaign is to strengthen the financial capacity of the
Movement.
He told the party organ, Abiyotawi Democracy, that the
Movement has gained wide acceptance among the public and the
number of members has dramatically increased in the past few
years.
The head said various committees were formed to effectively
conduct the fund raising campaign and called on cross sections
of the society to contribute to the success of the endeavor.
The 15th anniversary of the founding of SEPDM will
be celebrated for one month in the near future, Muder
disclosed, further urging members of the Movement and
businesspersons to mark the historic day. (END) |
