Chairperson – EPRDF
On behalf of the leadership of Rwandese Patriotic Front (RPF) and indeed
the entire fraternity of RPF, allow me to deliver our sincere
message of greetings and congratulations from our Chairperson
and the leadership of RPF to you the Ethiopian Peoples
Revolutionary Democratic Front.
Your Excellency, RPF is very proud to be associated with EPRDF, and we are
very thankful to your kind invitation to be part of your
Seventh Congress.
EPRDF and RPF enjoy special relationship; we share common values, common
vision and share a common commitment to the social and
economic transformation of the two peoples. Together, we shall
continue to succeed.
RPF, once more we would like to take this opportunity to once again
express our appreciation to EPRDF for standing with us and for
your unique support to us during the tragic events of 1994
genocide. Thank you for sending your sons and daughters to
keep our peace at a time when we were being abandoned by other
members of international community. Rwanda people will always
remember that remarkable support at the time of need. Since
then EPRDF lead government has remained strong advocates
against genocide ideology; you made a firm resolve that
Genocide Never Again.
Your Excellency, We thank you for continuing to stand with us both at
regional and international fora RPF is very great-full.
Our sister parties enjoy excellent bilateral relationship. We have
particularly benefited from your support to Human Resource
Development, which is of critical importance to our recovery
program.
Chairperson we are please to inform you that to day Rwanda under the
leadership of RPF is peaceful, stable, secure and on clear
path of democratization, we have built a strong foundation of
unity and reconciliation of our long divided people and its is
succeeding.
We are please to inform you that our economy continues to register
positive growth.
Finally Chairperson RPF wishes the EPRDF fruitful deliberations in this 7th
congress and we are further committed to continued
constructive relationship for the betterment of our two
peoples.
